Elegant "Wilmington Cherry" with burl inlay parquet Cedar Chest features cherry veneer panels with parquet burl veneer with cross grain edges. There is faux drawer face with antique Brass handles and heavy base moulding with scalloped bun feet. As with all of our cedar chests, there are 3 strong decorative hinges, 2 spring loaded stay hinges and 2 high quality roller catches to hold lid up in place and seal the lid tight for storage. The construction details include an aluminum sealing strip and strong interlocking corner joints. Full finished back panel and full Cedar Interior includes a self rising tray with brown acid free velvet lining. Fully assembled.

This Wilmington Cherry model features a distressed exterior cherry veneer, burl parquet inlay on top, and bands of cross-grain for a deep, luxurious glow. The flared ends have a solid yet graceful feel, and the carved bun feet convey strength and grand dimension. As a decorative touch, there are also two antique brass handles on a false drawer front. Open the chest's lid and inside is a self-rising tray with plush brown, acid-free lining. The Eastern Red Cedar has also been sealed so its wood oils won't cause any damage.
